Todays Wear ~ Midnight Blues

I'm wearing....? Body suit from Mr Price ~ Maxi skirt from Mr Price ~ Sandals from Esprite (Aussie) ~ Earrings gifted from Mr Price

Hello Lovelies, these photos are actually from yesterday. We had our welcome back dinner for our house. The University throws two extravagant dinners for each hall (a group of houses/residences forms a hall):  a welcome's dinner at the beginning of the year and a leaver's dinner at the end of the university year. These dinners are a fancy affair with scrumptious food and students get dressed up, wear heels and look good.

The theme for last nights dinner was a touch of beach. I touched up my outfit with feather earrings and pinned a flower with my up-do to give it that sense of beach (well that's my idea of a beach theme anyways). I even wore sandals for the beach effect! I was less than impressed with the dinner though. The food was mediocre, there was no music to dance to and the entertainment just fell flat :-/ Better luck for the next dinner.

Right now, I am cooped up in my bed contemplating whether to do some school work or watch some series for the rest of the day. The weather is not helping matters. It's cloudy and windy right now. So think I might just cozy up in my bed with a cup of hot chocolate and watch series for the rest of the day (I'll work later. I promise.)

Have a FAB Saturday.

Todays Wear ~ Puffed Sleeves

I'm wearing....? Shirt gifted from Meltz ~ Shorts from Foschini ~ Suspenders from Mr Price men section ~ Brogues from Mr Price ~ Earrings from The Jewelry Box (Botswana)

The weekend has begun. Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP from someone? I'm smiling in the photos but I had a major headache while I was taking these photos :-/ I think it had to do with the hectic day full of deadlines and assignments to hand in. Furthermore, it was hot and humid today and that kind of weather makes me sticky and hot.

So these short I got from Foschini have a story behind them. I'd planned on buying them at R120 from Foschini but the only money I had to my name was R50 (and my next pocket money was in a months time) They were the last ones left and they fitted me so perfectly. So I went back to the shop the next day after lending some cash from a friend (p.s. I really don't like borrowing things from people especially cash but I just had to buy these shorts) and to my surprise the lady at the till told me that they reduced it to R50 that day. Did I scream my head off or what?!!?!?! Think it was meant to be. (Evil grin).

Have a FAB FRIDAY <3

P.S That's the Canon Rebel T3/1100 I use but I call her REBEL for short.

Todays Wear ~ Lazy Day

I'm wearing....? Top from Mr Price ~ Skirt and Shoes are gifted ~ Earrings from Fashion World

Today has been a LAZY day. After my Ecos test yesterday I've been camping in my room doing nothing but watching one of my favourite cartoons that I loved when I was young - As told by Ginger. Even my laptop is acting darn skippy today. I only went down for my tutorial which is compulsory and took these pictures when I came back. I am having dinner at a friend's house tonight. It's been a while since I had a home cooked meal since coming back to Uni. So I'm really excited about that.

Hope you day has been much productive than mine.

New Additions ~ Meltz and Mr Price Blazers

Hello lovies, so I hadn't properly introduced my blazers to you. I've worn a couple of them already (you know me I don't waste time) but they all new in my closet. All blazers are from Meltz except the floral blazer that's from Mr Price. I bought the red blazer first and I just couldn't resist buying the same blazer in different colours.

Happy Tuesday. Mwah. xo

Todays Wear ~ Peaches and Cream

I'm wearing....? Blazer from Meltz ~ Top from Meltz ~ Leggings from Mr Price ~ Brogues from Mr Price ~ Earrings are DIY cardboard earrings I made

How amazing has this day been. The weather was slightly overcast (just the way I like it) and cloudy so I was quite excited to wear my Meltz blazer. The colour of the blazer is a rich peachy colour and works so well with my skin tone. I paired it with the DIY cardboard  earrings I made to keep the look funky and fresh.

I am so keen for the weekend after this busy and hectic week of varsity (college) but today was a nice way to start the weekend. What else could top today's amazing overcast weather, the self accomplishment of finishing my assignments and projects and partying it up with my lecturers and fellow journalism students over free food and good conversation.

Have a super duper weekend

xoxo
