Plaid. Tartan. Gingham. So I am loving doubling items of the same/similar pattern. Who doesn't! It's such a lovely statement. A lighter tartan (aka plaid) jacket is paired over the dark contrasted gingham shirt to complement it. And a chunky grunge necklace and voila you're good to go.

On a side note, although the shirt is gingham (which is a plain fabric that is usually strippe/checked) I believe it's bordering on being slightly plaid too! Ah well, they are both made of squares/checks!
