Hello lovelies, this week I will hopefully be doing several posts on hair and what hairstyle has inspired me each day this week (Yay). I've seen a lot of amazing hairstyles that I can't wait to try out and share with you all. Now if you are stuck on what to do with your hair especially with winter coming or you have spotted the same hairstyle for a while, then why not try out this side part long braids that Rihanna spotted. You can also see different braid hairstyles that I've done here and here and here . 

To get the added length, I used Amigos Kanekalon Japanese Fibre in light brown colour. I've had this fibre for years if not decades (jokes just years). I've used this fibre in other hairstyles like the bow hairstyle that I spotted in my Funky Mood post and my Dramatic Heights post. This fibre is quite coarse and gives the authenticity that the hair piece is actually your hair (that is if you have coarse hair like mine!)

To get this look, I brushed all my hair to a particular side and tied it with an elastic hair tie then I attached the hair extension by plaiting the loose ends of my own hair with the hair extension in a long flowing single braid. I then tied the tip of the single plait/braid with an elastic band/hair tie to secure the loose ends in place. I finished the look by placing a red scrunchie over the area where I had originally tied my own hair. I finished the look with hairspray and voila! For a different variation, why not try a fishtail braid like the one that Riri also spotted. Think I will take my own advice and do so.
