Hello lovelies, I've been slightly missing in action but you all understand why I've been busy lately (that's if you've been checking out my blog lately). Today, I decided to start a Know-How post where I'd be documenting how I make my DIYs and basically show you some handy beauty/fashion tricks/tips up my sleeves. I've done DIY posts over the past but I decided to expand the portfolio a bit so that it includes everything from fashion to beauty to everything nice and fabulous. Today's post is on how to make a simple Aztec earrings (seen here where I first wore it). I've become slightly obsessed with everything Aztec especially Aztec jewellery. Who can blame me, Aztec jewellery is beautiful. Here's how I made my Aztec earrings. Hope you enjoy it. xo.

p.s. I also added a couple of Aztec earrings below that I'm currently craving. Hope you like them as much as I did.

What you'll need

  • 2 pair of earrings (I used the top circular part of earring 1 and the inner triangular part of earring 2)
  • Or if you don't have earrings similar to these, then simply use a circular flat bead with a two way part to connect a circle link to it and a triangular bead.

  • 2 pliers
  • 2 fish earring hooks
  • 2 circular links

Step 1 - Using the two pliers separate the four pieces you'll need to make the earrings from the earrings you've chosen.

Step 2 - Combine the circular and triangular part using a circular link. Do the same for the next pair of earrings.

Step 3 - Connect the fish hook to the top part of the circular bead. Do the same for the next pair of earring.

Voila!
